Ewan McGregor......hmmmmmm

Has anyone seen Stormbreaker yet?? i went to see it last night - it's kind of a Brit Cody Banks meets Spy Kids trying to do James Bond, which sounds strange i know but it was pretty good - how could it be bad...it had Ewan McGregor in it (for all of 2mins but hey, we've got to take what we can get). It also had Stephen Fry, Robbie Coltrane and Bill Nighy so was a pretty all star cast. It was kind of predictable although Dana is determined to get some Mission Impossible in there as well and is convinced that the baddie is really Ewan McGregor's character in a mask..... i guess we will just have to wait for the next one to see how it all turns out but if you've seen it what do you think?

well... i have been slack and not posted in a while but some exciting things have happened so i should fill in some gaps - went to see Hugh Jackman in the Boy from Oz ... absolutely FANTASTIC. Who would have thought that the guy that brought wolverine out of the yellow spandex could look so good in sequins. The singing and dancing was great too :) Also had the fun shindig at P's church so i got to dance the night away last saturday. Went home to wombee for a few days last week and had a gastroscopy which wasn't so much fun but got to catch up with mum and janie which was cool. Had the focus on Israel night at church on sunday - was good to get the perspective of people who had actually lived there but was kinda biased towards Israel - didn't really look at the hand the USA has played in the conflict, or the fact that Israel hasn't always taken the moral high ground when it has come to the use of force and finding a solution to the problems in the region.

as fun as all that was uni is calling *tear* and i really need to do some study for those exams i've got coming up soon (and i have spent far to much time this week watching Angel DVDs... but Whedon really is a genius) - i have procrastinated long and hard enough

week seven blues

So... week seven (week something else for all you QUTers out there) is officially the (drum roll please....)

worst. week. ever

... for uni work anyway... two assignments down and one to go - i think i am insane.

But a question dear friends - can you be insane if you are sane enough to ask yourself if you are insane?

and not only that but i'm now half way through my LAST semester of uni... hmmm a strange mixture of feelings - part pure joy, part intense trepidation.

Oh dear, I have finally joined the multitudes seeking to regale the world with with riveting tales of my life and stunning insights into the person that is me. So, now that I have taken this first step, where to from here? Should my first post be bold and witty or subtle and thought provoking? I feel so young and naive in this giant world of blogging and now I'm here I realise I have nothing much to say - I'm not really one to go all detaily about my life but let's just see how I go from here.
