week seven blues
So... week seven (week something else for all you QUTers out there) is officially the (drum roll please....)
worst. week. ever
... for uni work anyway... two assignments down and one to go - i think i am insane.
But a question dear friends - can you be insane if you are sane enough to ask yourself if you are insane?
and not only that but i'm now half way through my LAST semester of uni... hmmm a strange mixture of feelings - part pure joy, part intense trepidation.

I'm happy to clear that one up... Yep, you can be insane if you're questioning your sanity. You're quite obviously insane, and questioning sanity... ;-) On the other hand, I don't question my sanity at all. I simply accept the fact that I'm insane and am waiting until i'm old so I can claim senility.
My boss at the IT joint wants me to start early on fortnightly mondays so I can come to the staff meetings. He offered to put me on the service budget bonus scheme as an incentive. I mentioned that I'm already getting that bonus, and the company budget bonus too. He seemed a bit deflated about that and mentioned that it wasn't a very good carrot then was it, to which I agreed. I asked him if he'd give me a 'coming to the staff meeting bonus' and he said he'd run it past the head boss lady.
Doubt it will happen, but was a fun story :-)
yeah, no 'coming to the meeting bonus' for me... :'( They do want to put me on permanent part-time though. Which would mean paid holidays and sick days at the expense of a lower hourly rate. Will most likely take them up on it though.
